Distribution & Licensing
The platforms, networks and labels Catholic filmmakers actually pitch to, grouped by the kind of release each one offers. “What they take” is filled in as editors confirm it with each company.
Parish and school screenings
Showing a film to a parish group, a school or a retreat is a public performance, and it needs a licence even when nobody pays. Most Catholic titles are cleared through the distributor directly or through a public-performance licence such as those sold by the umbrella licensing agencies; several of the streaming platforms below bundle screening rights for parishes into their subscriptions. If you are the one organising a screening rather than distributing a film, start from our parish resources, which pair films with discussion guides.
